Bite-Sized Distance Learning Programme: Resilience

We have heard the subject of resilience talked about a lot over the last few years: politicians speak of the need to be resilient as a country, and organisations and local communities are told they need to be more resilient to uncertainty and inevitable change. But any country, society, community or organisation can only be as resilient as the people within it.

Wherever your organisation is on the spectrum, reading this overview suggests that you, or your business, have identified that resilience, at work and in people’s personal lives, is important.

Our short online programme is intended to challenge your thinking about:

  • Self-awareness
  • Managing emotions
  • Positive mindsets
  • Positive self-talk
  • Self-confidence
  • Decision-making
  • Goal setting
  • Influencing
  • Responding and reacting
  • Managing stress
  • Building a support network
  • Physical well-being

During our programme, we encourage participants to keep an open mind throughout and to link what they have heard or read to their own practice or activity. Then, through honest reflection, create their own practical action plan to move forward. Each unit is concluded with a short self-assessment quiz. These quizzes provide an opportunity to complete the unit and prepare for the next one.

Programme Overview

In the course of the programme, participants will be guided to read either fact sheets or guides, watch inspirational and informative videos, and complete short multiple-choice quizzes for each unit. The idea is that these activities will add support to fulfill a 60-Day Challenge at the end of the programme.

The cost of this programme is £24.99 per person and can be accessed at any time, from any location (subject to necessary internet access) and should take approximately 10 hours to complete, including activities.

To access the programme, go to ProLearn and create an account.
